Authentic German Fare

After a beautiful day of skiing in Vail, Colorado, stop at Almresi for après.

Located at the top of Bridge Street, Almresi is a great location for parties, lunch, or dinner!  Decorated as a traditional cozy European mountain restaurant, you’ll fall in love with the atmosphere and then with the food and drinks.

Don’t miss the classic “Gluhwein,” spicy fruit wine, or “Lumuba,” hot chocolate with rum and whipped cream.  Both are sure to warm you up after a day in the mountains.  For non-alcoholic drinks, I suggest the “Snowflake,” white hot German chocolate with whipped cream.

What’s après ski without snacks?  A fresh-baked German Pretzel or bratwurst are always crowd pleasers.

And of course, dessert, don’t miss the Apfelstrudel, served with vanilla sauce.

Dinner at Almresi is an experience for the whole family, order the Original Austrian Hutessen.  Place your meat, beef, and veal, on the hot iron hat and let sizzle to perfection.  Finish off dinner with the “Schokofondue ‘Herzerl’ for Two,” chocolate fondue served with fresh fruit.
